From August 7-10, 2010, Professor Jianhua Ma, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences of Hosei University, Japan, visited our laboratory, and delivered academic speech.

From June 7-11, 2010, Professor Vincent CS Lee and Dr. Yen Cheung, Clayton School of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia, visited our laboratory, and delivered academic speech.

In 2009, ICL was successfully approved for one regular fund and two Youth type funds by Natural Science Foundation of China, respectively.
On December 8, 2009, the Special Interest Group (SIG) "Compressed Sensing and Sparse Coding" from The University of Science and Technology of China held an Academical Exchange Activity with our ICL members.

On October 25-27, 2009, Prof.Xiao-Ping Zhang,Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,Ryerson University,Canada,visited our laboratory, and delivered an academic speech.

The 2009 Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Computing Was Successfully Held on September 15-18, 2008, Ulsan, Korea.

On January 16-18, 2009, Prof. Kyungsook Han, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Inha University, Korea, visited our laboratory, and delivered the second academic speech based on Joint Research Project under The KOSEF-NSFC Cooperative Program.

In January-March 2008, two articles from Pattern Recognition for ICG were respectively ranked as the Second and Eighth positions in TOP25 Hottest Articles in ScienceDirect.

On Oct 25, 2008, Deputy General Manager, Jin Wang, from Hangzhou Branch, USA ArcSoft Inc., visited ICL and delivered a speech about how to conduct Research & Development

On Oct. 12-15, 2008, Wei Jia, a PhD student of ICG, was awarded a Honorable Mention for the best student paper of IEEE SMC2008

Prof. DeLiang Wang, IEEE Fellow, the 4th Oversea Review Experts of CAS, Professor of the Ohio State University, USA, funded the prize grant of K. C. Wong Education Foundation of CAS; The Postdoctor Research Fellow, Chun-Hou Zheng, from ICG, obtained the bonus grant of K. C. Wong Education Foundation of CAS.

Jian-Xun Mi, Ph.D candidate student from ICG, Guo-Zhu Wen and Huan Xu from ICG, won together the Second Class Prize of the 2007 Fourth China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
Recently, Ph D candidate, Xiao-Feng Wang, in our ICG received the fund from Graduate Students' Scientific Innovative Project of CAS.
