Brief
Introduction
Intelligent
Computing Lab (ICL: http://www.intelengine.cn,
In theoretic investigation or academic exchange, it is called as
"ICL"£ğIn application investigation or development exchange,
it is referred to as "Aike" ) of Institute of Intelligent
Machines (IIM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was founded by
Prof. De-Shuang Huang in November 2002. This Lab is to focus on
intelligent computing theories and their applications such as Pattern
Recognition, Neural Networks, Bioinformatics and Biometric Recognition,
etc. So far, there have been 18 Ph. D students and 19 Master students
graduated. Currently, there are 3 Postdoctoral student, 9 Ph.D students
and 12 Master students with our Lab. In particular, our Lab is open
to the outer world at all times, and recruits postdoctor fellows
and welcomes senior visiting learned scholars of CAS to work together
with us. In addition, our group also often invites many distinguished
scholars to make academic speeches. At present, our Lab has set
up three research teams including Neural Computing (NC), Bioinformatics
(BI) and Biometric Recognition (BR).
Our
Lab not only devotes our mind to fundamental theory research, but
also dedicates to transforming theoretical fruits into realistic
products, and directly serves for Peoples and Nation and Society.
Our
Lab would like to widely make friends with colleague from domestic
and oversea academic circle. Cordially welcome you to visit us and
make academic speeches in our group.
